Fastest you'll get over USB-C using SSD's - The only alternative is going to a thunderbolt 3 device with a very major cost increase...
All metal construction would have been nice.
This works very well with a pair of 850 EVO 1TB SSD's - I'm getting 822.8 write and 860.3 read speeds consistently in RAID 0.

Seems NVMe RAID enclosures over thunderbolt 3 don't exist without drives. I read somewhere that it has something to do with licensing (which makes them overly expensive).

Thought I'd share my thoughts on this RAID unit because on line info is rather sparse. Only gave it 4 stars because nothing is perfect.
